Our Story
EverGrace began as a beautiful friendship — a moment between Carmie and Lizzy. They met at Tshwane District Hospital in 2023. Lizzy was walking courageously through her battle with cancer. She carried herself with quiet strength, grace and a faith that inspired everyone around her. Through countless treatments and tender moments of hope, Carmie witnessed the depth of Lizzy’s love for life , for God and her compassion for others.
When Lizzy returned home to Syferkuil — a community facing daily challenges yet full of resilience and heart — Carmie felt deeply moved to continue what had begun between them. Together, they dreamed of creating a space where no one would feel unseen or alone, echoing the truth that we are meant to walk through life together, hand in hand.
That dream became EverGrace — a foundation rooted in faith, striving, every day, for that faith to overflow in kindness, dignity and hope. What started as one friendship has grown into a movement of care, connection and purpose.
Today, EverGrace serves the Syferkuil community through outreaches, donation drives and ongoing projects that aim to bring long-term, life-giving change. At its heart, EverGrace exists to remind people that grace still lives here — in every act of love, every helping hand and every story shared. And behind every step, every hand that reaches out, is God.
Impact So Far
Soft Launces – 2024
Our work began in April 2024 with a simple winter drive. Since then, EverGrace has grown into a steady force of hope in Syferkuil.
Syferkuil Winter Donation Drive
April 2024
- Warm clothing reached 93 community members
- Supported 16 families, 11 single moms, 14 orphans
Bags of Blessings: Christmas Edition
Nov 2024
- Supported 20 families (120 people)
- Included 76 children and 14 orphans
- Provided 1,500 meals
- Distributed R7,000 worth of groceries

- Delivered 40 brand-new pairs of school shoes to children in need

A clothing and dignity-restoration initiative grounded in community care.

- Created our first full-time job (store manager supporting a family of five)
- Fully sustained by donations — no shortages since launch
- Marked the beginning of EverGrace’s job-creation mission
GraceSpace Study Hub
Launched 19 July 2025
A safe, stable study environment for the children and students of Syferkuil.
- Welcomes 20–25 children daily
- Serves 30 meals/day, five days/week → 150 meals every week
- Employs contract staff
- Online tutoring programme
- Equipped with permanent Wi-Fi
- Offers mentorship, financial literacy and basic business skills
